Job Description

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to support US Government customers in the Northern Virginia / DC Metro area, acting as a trusted technical advisor and thought leader within the Intelligence Community.

Requirements

• 12+ years of technology domain areas experience in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences at C-level
• Experience developing technology solutions and evangelizing technology roadmaps towards cloud computing
• 10+ years of design, implementation, software development, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• Ability to collaborate across internal and external organizations
• Current active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with polygraph

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute a sales strategy in partnership with the sales team to exceed revenue objectives through AWS adoption
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in architectural discussions
• Conduct training sessions, share best practices, and build relationships with customers
• Author customer-facing publications and contribute to knowledge sharing
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers
