Embedded Software Development Engineer (SDE) II, Dash Cart Firmware & System Interfaces

Job Description

Amazon is seeking an embedded SDE to join their team in developing the new smart shopping cart, Amazon Dash Cart. The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• Experience in embedded development in C/C++

Responsibilities

• Develop Linux drivers for advanced sensors on the Dash Cart
• Implement APIs and services in Linux for device interfacing
• Write low-level firmware for microcontrollers on the cart
• Implement secure applications for OTA programming of devices
• Work hands-on with sensors and devices, utilizing low-level protocols
