Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test, Kuiper Payload Test System

Job Description

As a Sr.SDET within Kuiper PTS, you will be responsible for developing and executing test strategies, tooling, and automation to deliver high-quality software to meet critical mission requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field
• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience in architecture and design, scripting, test code development in Python, Java, Go or equivalent
• Experience with system integration, testing large integrated systems
• Experience with Linux OS and shell-scripting
• Experience working closely with development and business teams

Responsibilities

• Engage with and influence key stakeholders and internal teams to test and ensure operational functional requirements are met or exceeded
• Create and implement automated processes and test methods to increase efficiency, quality, and scalability
• Work closely with internal System Development Engineering teams to ensure fast, smooth roll-out of new processes, testing, and build systems
• Provide on-shift support for critical issues
• Create and review documentation and process regarding issues, new standard operating procedures, knowledge transfer material, etc.
