Job Description

Amazon is seeking a talented NPI Deployment Engineer to contribute to delivering transformational innovation to the business through automation, robotics, and deployment of new technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Physics, Operations Research, Finance, or equivalent
• Experience leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience working directly with hardware/software Engineering teams
• Experience with distributed systems at scale
• 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

Responsibilities

• Participate in strategic Deployment Readiness projects with significant technical depth and breadth
• Act as subject matter expert for deploying, integrating, optimizing, and implementing new Robotics solutions
• Provide iterative feedback on Work Instructions and execution plans
• Manage third-party installation teams during Alpha and Beta deployments
• Resolve field issues and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Drive alignment of New Product Introduction strategy with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Lead field trials and contribute to deployment guidelines and test plans/procedures
