Sr Innovation and Design Engineer, Worldwide Design Engineering

Job Description

Seeking innovative engineers to design world-class distribution centers and logistics systems globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or 5+ years Amazon experience
• 5+ years in Design/Innovation Engineering, Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering, or related
• Experience managing engineering design projects
• Proficiency in software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external teams to design cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution warehouses
• Own multiple projects from concept realization through design approval
• Serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers
• Support Ops Engineering team in project installation and commissioning
