Sr. System Development Engineer, Storage Systems Team

Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is looking for talented individuals to join their diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers to support and maintain all AWS global infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby experience
• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 5+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience
• 5+ years of Linux Storage experience and experience building, installing and debugging storage device drivers

Responsibilities

• Lead the Hardware Engineering (HWEng) System Development (SysDE) effort
• Author requirements specifications, system design, and development
• Test at each phase of system development
• Develop automation software for storage hardware
• Debug system for production hosts
