Job Description

Senior Cloud Engineer position at AWS focused on maintaining and optimizing cross domain services for U.S. Intelligence and Defense customers

Requirements

• Associate's degree or above, or Cloud+ or GICSP or GSEC or SSCP
• 5+ years of Linux systems administration experience
• 5+ years of experience working with scripting language
• Experience as a technical lead for a team of engineers
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Lead operational excellence initiatives for mission-critical systems
• Diagnose and resolve complex system issues
• Drive continuous improvement of operational processes
• Partner with development teams to influence system design decisions
• Perform technical deep-dives into service design and capacity planning
• Mentor team members on operational best practices
