Innovation and Design Engineer, Worldwide Design Engineering

Job Description

Design the next generation of fulfillment centers and logistics systems across the globe with ground-breaking automated material handling equipment and robotics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or 5+ years Amazon experience
• 2+ years of experience in Design/Innovation Engineering, Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering, or related
• Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) projects
• Proficiency in software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software

Responsibilities

• Design high quality, cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems
• Manage multiple projects from concept realization to design approval
• Be the primary technical contact for suppliers
• Collaborate with Ops Engineering team for installation and commissioning
• Ensure successful installation, commissioning, and launch of designed systems
