Software Development Engineer, EC2 Instance Networking

Job Description

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms and data structures
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, Linux operating system, and scripting languages
• Experience developing complex software systems successfully delivered to customers
• Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals and software engineering best practices

Responsibilities

• Mentoring junior engineers and ensuring development best practices are followed
• Leading architecture decisions, participating in designs, code reviews, and implementation
• Staying updated with new technologies and working on incorporating them into the platform
• Communicating with users, technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements and describe software features and strategies
