Job Description

Amazon is seeking a Senior Manager, Design Engineering to lead global initiatives in developing next-generation fulfillment and transportation systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field OR 2+ years Amazon experience
• 10+ years experience in Industrial Engineer, Process Engineer, or related occupation
• 5+ years experience managing a successful team of engineers
• Experience with technical leadership for large-scale engineering projects
• Experience with MHE and packaging lines or process design

Responsibilities

• Invent, design, and implement engineering solutions for material flow/transformation and efficiency problems
• Lead design and innovation efforts for fulfillment and transportation network
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to generate cost-effective solutions
• Manage multiple projects and tasks while influencing and negotiating with partners
• Provide technical leadership for large-scale engineering projects
• Communicate vision and technical solutions to senior executives
