Job Description

As a Software Development Engineer at Audible, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and refining the technology that keeps the platform one step ahead of listeners. You will collaborate with a team to build and maintain a platform that brings thousands of stories to millions of listeners worldwide.

Requirements

• 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain software components and applications for the world's largest audiobook creator and provider
• Identify and resolve software defects through various troubleshooting methods
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, test, and launch customer-centric software
• Apply computer science, engineering, and analysis principles to solve problems
• Enhance testability, operational excellence, and documentation for owned software components
• Handle data classification, storage, and management in accordance with company policies
• Participate in the interview process and provide mentorship to fellow engineers
