Job Description

Amazon Web Services is seeking a top industry technical expert to expand Builder Tools to government customers, operating and engineering systems on a massive scale in cloud computing.

Requirements

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above

Responsibilities

• Investigating and developing new ways to improve operations and define new solutions for cloud issues
• Investigating system variances and solving them proactively
• Studying service interdependencies to find root problems before impact
• Designing and building operational scalability for platform growth
• Improving tools, processes, and documentation to benefit customers
