Job Description

Amazon Web Services is seeking Mechanical Engineers to join their global engineering team responsible for the design and implementation of energy-efficient mechanical systems for data centers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related scientific field
• 5+ years experience in mechanical engineering design of power delivery systems and cooling infrastructure
• Experience with large-scale industrial or commercial cooling distribution systems
• Knowledge of structural design analysis and equipment safety certification
• HVAC manufacturing experience and understanding of lean principles
• Working knowledge of BIM and Revit

Responsibilities

• Design and implement energy-efficient mechanical systems for data centers
• Partner with teams to develop innovative cooling solutions and sustainability initiatives
• Create comprehensive documentation for mechanical designs and operational procedures
• Support continuous improvement through data analysis and system optimization
• Guide project teams through planning, execution, and commissioning phases
• Lead projects with widespread impact on infrastructure design, innovation, and implementation
