Job Description

The Operations Engineer Deployment & Ramp-up role in the Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging Customer Experience organization at Amazon involves overseeing multiple products, programs, and projects related to deploying Mechatronics Sustainable Packaging solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and participate in team-lifts for items over 50lbs
• Willingness to travel up to 75% or more across North America and potentially internationally

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support metrics for the program
• Collaborate with BI/Data Engineering teams to drive the collection of new data and refine existing data sources
• Review information to confirm data integrity and provide clear reporting of key performance metrics
• Own the coordination and execution of installation, commissioning, and performance ramp-up of products in the field
• Drive continuous improvement ideas into deployment cycle time and detail engineering design improvements to hardware engineering and product teams
• Build relationships and synthesize the voice of the customer
