Job Description

Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as an Engineering Operations Technician (EOT) to help maintain and operate critical infrastructure systems in some of the world's largest data centers.

Requirements

• High school or equivalent diploma
• Technical (Military/Trade School) training or 1+ years of electrical or mechanical, HVAC, fire system experience
• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 1+ years' experience with Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Performing daily building rounds to monitor and record information from critical equipment
• Assisting in troubleshooting facility and rack-level events
• Performing preventative maintenance, root cause analysis, and repair of equipment
• Supporting change management program through technical writing
• Executing projects from conception to completion
• On-site support of contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
• Working in shifts of up to 12 hours with on-call rotations
