Senior ADC Windows Client Engineer, Region Services Operations (RSO) - VECTOR Team

Job Description

Senior Windows Client Systems Engineer position at Region Services Corporate Infrastructure (RSCI) focusing on delivering robust, highly available, and easy-to-use services to internal customers in support of the Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) for U.S. Government customers.

Requirements

• Associate's degree, or Cloud+ or GICSP or GSEC or SSCP
• Eight (8+) years supporting Windows family of operating systems with specific competencies
• 3+ years' experience in automation / scripting in the Windows environment using PowerShell
• Active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities

• Overseeing deployment, configuration, and management of core ADC services
• Adapting and improving operations management systems
• Driving expedient resolution and root cause analysis for critical issues
• Mentoring and developing a team of Operational Engineers
• Bringing continuous improvement to operational processes
• Leading the development and delivery of system health monitoring and automation
• Developing automation tools and processes to increase efficiency
• Innovating and driving improvements in monitoring and visualization of system health
