Sr. Manufacturing Controls Test Engineer, Manufacturing Test and Controls

Job Description

Join Amazon Robotics as a Senior Manufacturing Test Development Engineer to work on developing test strategies and solutions for new products with a focus on automation, cycle time reduction, and improving product quality.

Requirements

• BSEE or equivalent required
• 5+ years related work experience in fast-paced environments
• Knowledge of test fixture design and automated test equipment
• Expertise in test strategy development and implementation
• Experience in writing code to control equipment and devices using a high-level programming language

Responsibilities

• Support and foster a culture of inclusion
• Develop equipment, software, and processes for acceptance testing of robotic systems
• Document test procedures, specifications, and acceptance criteria for new products
• Transfer new test solutions to internal and external manufacturers
• Collaborate with suppliers to support deployed products and tests
• Resolve complex manufacturing problems
• Propose design changes to enhance product manufacturability and testability
• Evaluate and approve Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
• Provide cross-functional support requiring multiple skill sets
• Willingness to work in a small, specialized team environment
• Up to 20% travel required, including international travel
