Application Development Engineer, Building Integration and Data - GREF Tech

Job Description

The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) Tech team at Amazon is seeking an Application Development Engineer to help create the next generation of real estate systems and support the organization.

Requirements

• 2+ years of non-internship professional Systems engineering and automation development experience
• 2+ years of designing monitoring for 24/7 systems and creation of system health dashboards
• Experience programming with at least one scripting language such as Python, Javascript, PowerShell, Ruby

Responsibilities

• Integrate 3rd party systems into Amazon's diverse software ecosystem
• Monitor and improve the operational excellence of systems
• Deliver a seamless user experience to the audience
• Define and implement engineering best practices
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for building systems
