Sr. Software Development Engineer, AWS Compute Services

Job Description

Join a strategic team at AWS to build and launch new AI services, working with the latest machine learning technologies and highly scalable distributed systems engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy distributed machine learning systems and large-scale solutions
• Collaborate with ML scientists to influence overall strategy and define road map
• Drive system architecture, spearhead best practices, and coach and develop junior engineers
