System Development Engineer II, CIA Connectivity Services

Job Description

Amazon Operations Technology is seeking an experienced System Development Engineer to join the CIA Connectivity Services team in Austin, TX. The role involves solving challenging problems and developing scalable solutions for Amazon Stores and FC networks.

Requirements

• Experience designing or architecting systems
• Programming experience with languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
• Experience building services using AWS products
• Experience with AWS cloud solutions in a DevOps environment
• Experience working in an Agile environment

Responsibilities

• Partnering with System Engineers, Network Engineers, and Software Engineers globally to develop efficient technology for Fulfillment Centers and Transportation Sites
• Working on a variety of technologies and projects
• Providing mentorship, guidance, and solutions to complex business problems unique to Amazon
• Focusing on automation of complex tasks to support business scalability
