Sr Camera Electrical Engineer, Camera Hardware Development

Job Description

Amazon Lab126 is seeking an electrical engineer to drive the electrical design of camera modules and supporting hardware.

Requirements

• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures
• Experience collaborating with ECAD/physical board designers
• Experience in motherboard design, PCB design, and circuit board layout
• Experience in component selection and understanding of component reliability
• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent (preferred)
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production (preferred)
• Experience with project management of technical projects (preferred)
• Hardware lab equipment skills such as digital scope, logic analyzer, and soldering skills

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the schematics and layout design of camera modules and supporting hardware
• Lead DFM processes with contract manufacturers and drive technical-related issues including Low and High-Level Failure Analysis
• Strong and effective communicator, independent, and highly motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills
