Sr. Software Development Engineer, AWS Hardware Development

Job Description

Join the AWS Edge and Specialized Hardware test development and automation team to work on delivering tools and infrastructure for Edge, Outposts, Specialized Hardware, and Archival Storage platforms within AWS.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with general troubleshooting/debugging of hardware
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, Python
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Solve systemic issues and drive changes back into development
• Build mechanisms to scale and efficiently operate infrastructure
• Lead software development efforts
• Work across internal teams to ensure performance, reliability, and operational health of platforms
• Build monitoring tools and metrics for hardware in test and production environments
