Senior Software Development Engineer, Technology Engineering Services

Job Description

Seeking an experienced full stack Software Development Engineer to join the Technology Engineering Services team within the Amazon Fulfillment Technologies Robotics organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience developing web-based applications using AWS services (e.g., React, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Flink, AppSync)
• Experience or knowledge with control systems and/or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

Responsibilities

• Lead cross functional development of new technology from design to deployment
• Work with key stake holders in product management and executive teams to define strategy and requirements
• Solve complex problems and work on difficult challenges in software engineering
• Drive the technical direction of full stack technology
