ECAD Application Engineer, Project Kuiper Satellites

Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of satellites in low Earth orbit, bringing fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Computer Engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience as an Application Engineer for CAD tools
• Experience with frontend and backend ECAD tools, Enterprise Tool administration, and engineering process documentation

Responsibilities

• Provide a stable set of ECAD tools and database management for electrical engineering design, layout, and simulation engineers
• Support users, anticipate tool needs, and develop processes for successful development of a low earth orbit satellite constellation
• Work on end user project troubleshooting, proposal creation for infrastructure needs, process automation, and research on new tools/technologies
