Job Description

Prime Video is seeking an experienced video systems engineer to join their Media Systems Engineering team in Culver City, CA. The role involves designing, building, implementing, and maintaining business critical infrastructure for Studios teams globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of media, systems and/or video engineering experience
• In-depth knowledge of video and audio transport standards, encoding protocols, and streaming protocols
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining Evertz ecosystem
• Prior experience and knowledge of AWS MediaServices

Responsibilities

• Lead subject matter expert on advanced video transport systems
• Design, deploy, maintain, and support media systems at Amazon Studios/Prime Video facilities
• Act as the lead technical advisor for internal teams
• Drive technology roadmaps and invent new video solutions
• Collaborate with production and post production teams on media transport mechanisms
