Job Description

The Controls Engineer role at Amazon involves creating, developing, and executing highly flexible and efficient packaging machinery and automation platforms to meet customer expectations and improve sustainability.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Automation, Controls, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
• Proven experience in advanced motion control platforms
• 3+ years experience with motion control software

Responsibilities

• Work with a technical project team to design and program advanced packaging machinery & automation
• Own the design of systems architecture including HMI, PLC, Motion, safety, and ancillary systems
• Execute programing of subsystems as required
• Support project team in safety certification
• Participate in meetings to ensure projects set benchmarks for customer experience, supply chain performance, and sustainability
