Software Development Engineer II, Amazon Payments

Job Description

The Payments Control Plane team is a unified destination for PayStation clients to address all their payments-related requirements, ranging from onboarding to PayStation, monitoring/managing existing payment methods and processors, launching new payment methods/features, documentation, self-service client dashboards, automated payment workflows, and request routing.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with junior and senior engineers, product managers, and program managers to build features and solutions to business and engineering problems
• Work on new technology, AWS components, and Greenfield projects
• Develop scalable and extensible solutions
