IT Support Engineer, Project Kuiper

Job Description

Amazon's Project Kuiper is seeking an experienced IT support engineer to join the Kuiper Production Operations team to provide technical support for end user devices, network equipment, and critical infrastructure at government solution facilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science or equivalent
• Experience working with Windows and Linux Server technologies
• Experience working with Microsoft Office products and applications, and Cisco IOS (CLI) experience
• 3+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, and deployment experience
• 3+ years of basic LAN networking experience

Responsibilities

• Apply troubleshooting methodologies to resolve IT support problems
• Define requirements and manage delivery of IT projects
• Lead continuous improvement efforts
• Audit quality of technical work performed
• Automate manual tasks and create/improve tools
• Participate in hiring, training, and development
• Maintain high attention to detail and manage multiple priorities
• Be on-call for high-severity issues outside standard hours
• Drive engineering best practices and set standards
• Ability to travel up to 20%
