Lead Platform Engineer (Distribution Automation)

Job Description

The role involves optimizing and improving automation in the distribution center by leveraging industry experience and technology solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred
• 5 Plus years of progressive industry experience
• PLC/PC program knowledge and troubleshooting experience
• Industrial electrical hands-on experience and troubleshooting
• Control Systems interfaces and program knowledge
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with PCs, servers and industrial controls networking

Responsibilities

• Maximizing equipment reliability and operational performance in systems like conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras, ASRS, and material handling robots
• Troubleshooting and maintaining material handling control systems
• Collaborating on system repairs, flow design, and upgrades
• Developing system Description of Operation, test plans, and user guides
• Implementing material handling systems and attending project-related meetings
