Continuous Improvement Engineer

Job Description

The Continuous Improvement Engineer at Milwaukee Tool leads the development of processes, technology, and infrastructure supporting reverse logistics operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Reverse Logistics, or equivalent
• 2 years of engineering, operations, or distribution experience
• Experience with business process improvement
• Proficiency in Lean principles and project management skills
• Data analysis skills in SQL, MS Excel, Minitab, and more
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and projects
• Develop and execute project plans using strong project management skills
• Drive accountability for team to complete tasks and escalate hurdles
• Establish metrics, report progress, and share best practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and deliver training
• Facilitate CI Activity Suggestion program and plantwide 5S scoring
• Identify, prepare, and implement improvement opportunities
• Conduct capability and time studies, implement improvement plans
• Act as technical resource for manufacturing and maintenance
• Stay current with business trends and maintain strong time management
