Job Description

AWS is seeking a software engineer to join the Compiler team for AWS Neuron, focusing on optimizing the performance of ML models on AWS Inferentia and Trainium.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's degree, or PhD in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• Experience with object-oriented languages like C++/Java
• Experience in compiler design for ML-accelerators
• Experience with technologies like PyTorch, OpenXLA, StableHLO, JAX, and TVM

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions to enhance Neuron compiler's performance and user interface
• Collaborate with chip architects, engineers, scientists, and ML teams to deploy ML models on AWS accelerators
• Work with open-source software to optimize ML workloads on AWS hardware
• Develop innovative features to improve customer experience
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and communication with internal and external stakeholders
