Sr. Data Center Structural Engineer, AWS DC Design Engineering

Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services is looking for a Structural Engineer to be part of the design team for Amazon Data Centers in the Americas Region and impact projects worldwide.

Requirements

• ABET accredited Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• PE and/or SE Engineering license
• 10+ years experience in structural design for industrial or commercial projects
• 5+ years with design of Data Center, Mission Critical, Hospital, Schools, Commercial or Residential Tower facilities

Responsibilities

• Design resilient and cost-effective Data Center facilities
• Achieve world-class uptime for customers
• Drive to develop a fleet of buildings emphasizing security, safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
• Provide technical guidance, review drawings, solve implementation issues, and be responsible for structural design requirements
