Sr. Software Development Engineer, Amazon Robotics - Manipulation

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance software for robotic systems
• Transition innovative features to robust, scalable solutions
• Handle complexities and edge cases in real-world robotics applications
• Build and optimize data pipelines for system improvement
• Create monitoring and observability tools for tracking and learning
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
• Integrate, test, and validate new features on live systems
• Work with experts across disciplines to create integrated systems and solutions
