Senior Manager, Compute Compiler Engineering

Job Description

We are looking for an accomplished Engineering Leader to lead the teams responsible for CUDA C++ and OpenCL compilers in NVIDIA's GPU Compiler Software organization.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of production software development
• 5+ years of technical lead/management experience
• Experience in developing production compilers or related software
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong hands-on C++ programming skills
• Familiarity with parallel programming paradigms and hardware accelerators

Responsibilities

• Providing supervisory mentorship and technical direction to a geographically distributed team of compiler development engineers
• Guiding the design and implementation of CUDA C++ and OpenCL compilers
• Advising the design and implementation of the OpenCL 'just-in-time' compiler
• Offering end-to-end stewardship for both compiler product offerings
• Collaborating closely with multi-functional teams to ensure language conformance and high-quality code generation
• Establishing strong customer/partner relationships
