Senior Applications Software Engineer - Autonomous Vehicles

Requirements

• Strong C/C++ development skills with knowledge of Python and scripting languages
• 5+ years of work related experience in embedded systems and/or autonomous driving technologies
• Bachelors or Masters in computer science, robotics, computer engineering, or equivalent
• Proficiency in system performance improvement and complexity evaluation
• Experience in application development and familiarity with robotics or automotive middleware frameworks
• Knowledge of various OS environments such as Linux, Android, or Real-time operating systems
• Familiarity with automotive design processes and norms
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and platforms
• Strong analytical skills and attention to details

Responsibilities

• Develop application software architecture for autonomous vehicles
• Collaborate with internal and external partner teams
• Integrate hardware and software components efficiently
• Optimize application resource utilization across CPU, GPU, and other hardware accelerators
• Perform in-vehicle and simulation test drives and data analysis
• Lead bring-up activities and resolve system performance issues
• Customize, reconfigure, and rebuild processing pipelines
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to deploy solutions to customers
