Senior Software Engineer, Generative-AI

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking hard-working engineers and applied scientists with deep experience in generative modeling to join the Cosmos generative AI engineering team. The team is focused on pushing the boundaries of multimodal learning, video generation, synthetic data, and intelligent simulation to define the next era of AI computing.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years industry or 3+ years research/postdoc experience in building and deploying generative AI systems
• Proficiency in PyTorch, JAX, or other deep learning frameworks
• Expertise in diffusion models, auto-regressive models, VAE/GAN architectures, retrieval-augmented generation, neural rendering, or multi-agent systems
• Hands-on experience with large-scale training and data processing
• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Math, Physics, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant software development experience

Responsibilities

• Design, post-train, and optimize novel world models for Physical AI applications
• Contribute to collaborative development on training infrastructure, inference pipelines, and data pipelines
• Collaborate with research, software, and product teams to bring world models from idea to deployment
• Prototype rapidly and iterate on experiments across cutting-edge AI domains
• Design and implement model distillation algorithms for size reduction and diffusion step optimization
• Profile and benchmark training and inference pipelines
