Senior Mixed Signal Design Validation Engineer

Job Description

NVIDIA is looking for a member to join the Mixed Signal Design Validation team responsible for high-speed mixed-signal circuits and electro-optical transceivers.

Requirements

• BS degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
• Experience in silicon bring-up, debugging, and lab instrumentation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple chip and system bring-ups
• In-depth technical knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits
• Proficiency in Python, Git, MATLAB, and JMP

Responsibilities

• Build validation test suites for high-speed I/Os and analog circuits
• Conduct detailed characterization of circuit blocks across variations
• Lead debugging of technically challenging issues
• Provide feedback to analog circuit designers
• Lead discussions with cross-functional teams to optimize circuit performance
• Develop tools and scripts for electrical characterization and chip bring-up
• Train new engineers in validation practices
