Senior AI Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

The Senior AI Infrastructure Engineer role at NVIDIA's Compute Architecture Group involves managing a diverse cluster of GPU-accelerated systems to enable efficient software development and performance optimization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience deploying and administering large scale clusters for AI development
• MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or EECE; or a BS with equivalent experience
• Deep knowledge of distributed resource scheduling systems, scripting, container technologies, and operating systems
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers, architects, and engineers
• Passionate dedication to providing quality support for users

Responsibilities

• Administering an NVIDIA Internal AI cluster composed of Linux systems
• Maintaining resource management system configuration (SLURM)
• Automating configuration management, software updates, and maintenance using DevOps tools
• Planning and maintaining systems supporting the NVIDIA Software stack
• Collaborating with developers and architects to debug issues and improve workflows
• Communicating with users and management regarding resource planning and allocation
