Senior Software Engineer - HPC

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their mission of improving HPC infrastructure. The ideal candidate will design scalable systems, evaluate new technologies, and continuously enhance infrastructure provisioning and management.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in design, implementation, and delivery of large engineering projects
• Proficient in at least two of the following programming languages: Golang, Java, C/C++, Scala, Python, Elixir
• Experience in crafting horizontally-scalable, resilient, and high-performing systems
• Proficiency in cloud computing with hands-on experience in at least one cloud platform: GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Strong work ethic and passion for problem-solving
• B.S. degree in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

• Design highly available and scalable systems for HPC clusters
• Evaluate new and innovative technologies as the landscape evolves
• Improve infrastructure provisioning and management using automation
• Support a globally distributed, multi-cloud hybrid environment
• Ensure high uptime and Quality of Service (QoS) through operational excellence
• Participate in team's on-call rotation and handle service incidents
