Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a CAD Engineer to join the Advanced Technology Group, supporting the installation of foundry techfiles and enhancing productivity for custom circuit designers using cutting-edge process technologies.

Requirements

B.S. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience); MS preferred
2+ years of work experience
Understanding of circuits, layouts, and VLSI design
Experience with Python, Perl, and other scripting languages
Experience with version control software like Perforce
Programming skills and regression testing methodology understanding

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and support foundry techfiles
Support and maintain CAD tools used by IC
Create and set up a Regression environment for testing decks
Document and communicate changes in deck versions and customizations
Collaborate with CAD tool vendors to enhance tool usability
Develop infrastructure for design work in new process technologies
Write scripts using perl, Cadence SKILL, and python
