Senior Calibre CAD Engineer

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a motivated CAD Engineer with expertise in EE or CS to support installation of foundry techfiles, debug tool errors, and enhance productivity of custom circuit designers.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (MS preferred)
• 5+ years of work experience
• Basic understanding of circuits, layouts, and VLSI design
• Excellent programming skills in perl and Cadence SKILL
• Expertise in Calibre for supporting foundry DRC and Antenna techfiles
• Interpersonal skills for user support

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support foundry techfiles
• Debug design errors for resolution
• Custom edit foundry techfiles for NVIDIA design methodologies
• Support and maintain CAD tools for IC designers
• Work with CAD tool vendors for bug resolution and tool improvements
• Develop infrastructure for new process technologies
• Write scripts using perl and Cadence SKILL
