Senior CAD Engineer, Custom Circuit Designers

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a CAD Engineer to join the Advanced Technologies group, responsible for developing tools to enhance the productivity of custom circuit designers globally.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering
• 6+ years of experience with B.S. or 4+ years of experience with M.S.
• Solid understanding of circuits, layouts, and VLSI design
• Experience with perl, Cadence SKILL, python, and tcl
• Excellent programming skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and support component libraries for advanced process technologies
• Install, configure, and support foundry PDKs
• Maintain custom design environment for schematic and mask designers
• Write scripts using perl, python, and Cadence SKILL
• Support and maintain CAD tools used by IC designers
• Evaluate new tools with CAD tool vendors
• Develop infrastructure for design work in new process technologies
