High-Speed Interconnect Architect

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a visionary and technically grounded High-Speed Interconnect Architect to define and drive the future of high-speed interconnect solutions.

Requirements

• B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering, with strong working knowledge of Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years experience in high-speed cable and connector design and manufacturing
• Proven ability to lead product roadmap development and balance technical tradeoffs between signal integrity and mechanical constraints
• Deep understanding of mating issues, connector mechanics, and high-speed performance limitations
• Experience working cross-functionally with customers, vendors, and internal R&D/engineering teams
• Excellent communication and collaborator management skills

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the product roadmap for high-speed cables and connectors
• Specify clear, actionable requirements while enabling space for innovation
• Work closely with customers and vendors to understand challenges and drive alignment
• Lead or support root cause analysis of mating and mechanical issues
• Drive fast-turn prototyping and MP cycle time optimization
• Encourage internal and external collaborators with the vision and deliver on it with clarity, precision, and excellence
• Travel to vendors, manufacturers, and customers (20%) to foster strong relationships and ensure alignment
