Senior System Software Engineer – GeForce NOW Cloud

Job Description

NVIDIA is looking for a Senior System Software Engineer to design and build system services for their cloud gaming service, GeForce NOW, using advanced GPUs and proprietary software.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent program
• 8+ years of hands-on industry experience delivering complex C++ projects
• Proven experience in developing system services for multiple operating systems
• Strong self-initiative, passion, interpersonal skills, and adaptability to new technology
• Deep understanding and experience in writing testable, maintainable, and performant codebases
• Experience designing and implementing observability solutions for C++ projects
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, distributed system design, and security best practices

Responsibilities

• Design and build system services for a high-performance SaaS/PaaS platform
• Develop microservices and APIs to support scalable gaming infrastructure
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive new features and optimize existing systems
• Influence technology stack, architecture, and development methodology
• Drive automation, monitoring, and comprehensive testing
• Drive standardization and best practices across multiple teams
• Guide and mentor junior engineers
