Senior Software Systems Engineer, Motion Planning - Autonomous Vehicles

Job Description

Seeking a software engineer to join the Motion/Trajectory planning team at NVIDIA, developing and deploying Optimization-based Trajectory generation algorithms for autonomous driving.

Requirements

• MS or higher in engineering or technical field
• 8+ years of practical experience
• Experience in AV industry highly preferred
• Experience writing software in C++
• Strong skills in applied mathematics
• Proficiency with core concepts in linear algebra, differential equations, numerical methods, convex optimization
• Comfort with software development environment in Linux

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cost and constraints for trajectory generation
• Improve optimization solver methods
• Model desired vehicle behavior and driving modes
• Design overall software architecture
• Tune and validate behaviors in Simulation
• Maturing prototype software to production quality
