Senior Applied Power Architect - GPU

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Applied Power Architect for developing state-of-the-art GPUs to power AI, Automotive, GeForce, and Mobile products.

Requirements

• MSEE/MSCE, preferably PhD, with a specialization in low-power-processor architectures
• 6+ years of relevant industry experience in energy-efficient system design fundamentals
• Deep understanding of processors, servers, and system-SW architectures
• Proficiency with Python and data analysis packages like Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch
• Experience with Power Analysis EDA tools and performance monitors/simulators
• Ability to analyze board-level power issues and strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Inventing flows/methodologies and building power estimation models/tools for GPU products and AI systems
• Investigating multi-die technologies and addressing packaging, interconnect, physical design, electrical, and thermal challenges
• Driving performance vs power analysis to enable product decisions and customer interaction
• Collaborating with other experts to understand product challenges and improve energy efficiency
