Manager, Engineering - Data Center Management

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking expert engineers to design rack level solutions for next generation scaling AI supercomputing platforms and manageability architecture for data centers.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in EE/CS or related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience working on server firmware (BMC) and platform software development
• Strong knowledge of data center management, server architecture, and server manageability
• 4+ years of proven record managing teams of engineers
• Hands-on experience with data center health management workflow
• Strong skills in C/C++ and Python
• Experience with SCM (e.g. Git, Perforce) and project management tools like Jira

Responsibilities

• Drive server management for large clusters and data centers deploying GPUs and Grace solution from NVIDIA
• Work with data center architects and cloud customers to define requirements for product implementation
• Define low-level requirements and architecture for data center products
• Deliver firmware for low-level management components
• Manage a team to deliver firmware with quality
• Collaborate with other leads to design and build data center health management workflow
• Drive reliability and optimization in firmware architecture for data centers
• Resolve issues related to cluster bring up at Speed of Light
• Own firmware delivery to data centers in terms of quality, reliability, and telemetry performance
