Senior Silicon Product Definition Engineer

Job Description

NVIDIA is seeking Product Definition Engineers to work on groundbreaking solutions for productizing chips into various markets.

Requirements

• BS or MS in EE, CE, CS, Systems Engineering, or similar
• 8+ years with BS or 6+ years with MS in a related hardware engineering position
• Experience with silicon bringup, characterization, Tester System correlation, and lab tools
• Deep understanding of product binning methods, optimization techniques, trade-off analysis, and data analysis
• Familiarity with Perl, C/C++, Windows and Linux OS
• Background in power supply and substrate noise analysis, digital design, circuit analysis, and computer architecture

Responsibilities

• Analyze pre-production silicon for performance, power, yield, and quality
• Architect next-generation product features for performance and power optimization
• Design tools to automate product definitions and data collection
• Build methodologies to characterize silicon features and provide design feedback
• Find solutions to silicon and system-level problems, lead bug resolutions
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to deliver industry-defining products
