Sr. Staff Electronic Design Engineer

Job Description

Rivian is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and develop next-generation L2 charger communication modules for their Electric Adventure Vehicles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related fields) with 12+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 8+ years experience
• Strong EE fundamentals including power, high speed, computer architecture, analog, and mixed signal design
• Experience in design and validation of high-speed signaling
• Proficiency in schematic capture and design layout tools (Altium)
• Excellent communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Own the design and development of Rivian’s next-generation L2 charger communication module
• Troubleshoot and diagnose field issues of deployed Rivian electronics control units
• Design, prototype, and test all electrical circuits within your module
• Collaborate with RF engineers to optimize wireless interfaces
• Define hardware and software requirements to ensure your design complies with the full mission profile
