Job Description

Rivian is seeking a Sr. Power Electronics Controls Engineer to play a key role in developing innovative power conversion systems.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering specializing in Power Electronics or Controls
• Strong theoretical and practical understanding of power electronics control
• Experience in developing, implementing, and verifying control algorithms for switching power converters
• Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++ programming
• Proactive, self-driven attitude with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Designing and optimizing control algorithms for power electronics applications
• Utilizing advanced simulation tools to evaluate circuit topologies
• Developing and implementing novel control strategies
• Testing and troubleshooting control algorithms in simulated and hardware environments
• Collaborating with system, electrical, and software engineers
